Buying double-hung windows

What makes a window custom?

The frame is built to the approved width and height with a selected operation, frame depth, glass package, finish, grid pattern and installation method. Manufacturing limits still apply to every combination.

Do both sashes open?

Yes, on a true double-hung window. The specific travel, tilt and locking features vary by system and size.
